As specialist interaction design consultants we offer skills in the development of interactive products: from computer software interfaces to electronic goods. Such skills go beyond mere paper based design and include prototyping, testing and production specification.

USABILITY AUDITS

CONTINUUM ID is the originator of the usability audit. We audit your information systems in terms of how your systems affect your business and your staff. An audit is an excellent way of determining how effective your information systems are.

APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

During the past 12 months we have developed software tools, business systems and multimedia applications for both Macintosh and Win32 platforms using Prograph CPX, Visual Basic, C++, Microsoft Access, 4th Dimension, Macromind Director and the Apple Media Tool. We also have skills in various script based applications.

DATABASE DEVELOPMENT

We have developed EIS systems and business databases around a number of SQL and non SQL databases. Currently we are responsible data maintenance on Sybase, Oracle, dtF, P.INK SQL, FileMaker, Access and 4th Dimension databases.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

CONTINUUM ID has skills in product design and has been responsible for a number of electronic and non-electronic product designs, from industrial kilns to GSM radios. We have a number of associates who are able to offer skills in furniture design, automotive design and electronic goods design.

HIGH SPEED MARINE CRAFT DESIGN

CONTINUUM ID principal Roland Whitehead also has a highly specialist niche in the design and development of high speed marine craft. Roland was the designer of the British Challenger for the Little America's Cup in 1987 and was appointed co-designer to the Roses America's Cup challenge in 1992. Roland is also the designer of the 4.25m "Flyer" sailing dinghy currently available from Bell Woodworking.
