CONTINUUM ID LAUNCH CIESAW

As a result of winning a 1998 Information Society Creativity Award as part of the DTI's Information Society Initiative, CONTINUUM ID has developed CIEsaw, a cross platform cgi based collaborative research, information and trading infrastructure that enables information providers to supply 100% virtual web systems driven from a database. The first implementation, F.CAD, can be accessed via any HTML 3 compliant browser and provide a wide range of information on the furniture industry.

 

CONTINUUM ID IMPLEMENT NEW AUCTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Leading Auctioner house Robert Brooks (Auctioneers) Limited, with offices in London, Monaco, Munich, Geneva and San Fransico today start using a new object oriented auction management system developed by CONTINUUM ID. Using the PrimeBase dbms and Prograph CPX, CONTINUUM ID have delivered a start of art system that will significantly reduce Brooks' management costs and provide a wealth of information that other auction houses continue to attempt to mirror with complex and expensive applications such as SAP.

 

CONTINUUM ID PRINCIPAL PART OF TEAM WINNING TECHNOLOGY IN BANKING AWARD

Mark Strachan, one of CONTINUUM ID's principals, has been working with a team to radically review how we use domestic products. The team's touch screen microwave oven, developed for NCR's research labs, have won the 1998 Technology in Banking award. The microwave is the first such product to feature a transparent touch-screen user interface - expect more such products in the near future!

 

ROTARY WATCHES ARE FIRST TO IMPLEMENT "PROPHECY OPEN"

CONTINUUM ID client, Rotary Watches beging using Prophecy Open as a result of a successful contract to select and implement new IT systems with CONTINUUM ID. Prophecy Open is a wholly object oriented business management system developed by Prophecy International using CA's OpenRoad software. CONTIUUM ID have been instrumental in the project management of this implementation, the world's first commercial implementation of the system; implementation achieved within budget.
