FLYER DINGHY

The "Flyer" dinghy was designed by CONTINUUM ID's Roland Whitehead as a home construction ply performance sailing dinghy. She offers a level of performance similar to an International Fireball or to Topper International's Buzz but is considerably easier to sail.

Contruction time is approximately 200 hours and kits are available from Bell Woodworking (Tel: +44 116 234 0088 ) for under $5000. With a single trapeze and modest asymmetrical spinnaker, she is suitable for youth crews (age 15+), mixed crews and parent/tenager combinations. She has a provisional UK Portmouth Yardstick of 1.007.
